Facebook Competition Winner Announced for Luxury Inn on the Lake Prize
After our Lake District Hotels Facebook page reached 1000 likes a few weeks ago, we couldn’t help but want to say thank you to our loyal fans, and what better way to do it than by offering a chance to win Luxury Afternoon Tea for two at The Inn on the Lake!
To win, our fans had to describe their dream stay in one of our six hotels in no more than 30 words, making sure that each entry started with “My dream stay..” After some truly inspiring entries, the judges decided it was Sarah Monteith’s depiction that really caught their imagination..
My dream stay? Stormy Derwent, brooding mountains, angry clouds, frosty- clawed winds. Then a beckoning glow from the valley, crackling fires and warmer welcomes, sumptuous dinner and bed… The Borrowdale…
