Fantastic photo shoot for Lake District Hotels
We’ve just had a very creative day photographing for Lake District Hotels. Setting off this morning at the George Hotel, Penrith, we took some fabulous shots of the stylish new bar which opens tomorrow – with its burgundy and lime green furnishings it is set to be one of the early evening destinations in Penrith. It is currently the ‘bar with no name’ because we are running a competition to find the right name that reflects the modern, chique look, contrasting with the traditional feel of the George Hotel itself. Entries for the name close on 24th July – so if you can think of a great name to reflect this refreshingly new bar – let us know. After lunch our next stop was the Lodore Falls Hotel to inspect the newest refurbished room – what stunning views across the lake towards Catbells. It was hard to get across the space, but our photographer did a fantastic job with light pouring in to the lounge area of the suite. Our final stop for the day was the Borrowdale Hotel to capture the mood and ambiance of the new Wine Cellar. The LED underlighting really showed off the racks of wine – so much choice for diners!
