Over 40 locals gathered at the Inn on the Square, Keswick, on Tuesday 14th June, to celebrate the hotels first birthday and a successful first year of business.
Glasses of bubbly and canapés were enjoyed by guests, while the impressive 1st birthday cake, made by Head Housekeeper Clare Cockbain, went down a treat to the sounds of live music from local Lee Hawker. The hotel’s general manager, Rod Nisbett, finished the event with a cocktail masterclass, showcasing several of the 30 brand new cocktails on the summer drinks menu.
Rod said at the event, “I joined the group in March and it’s been a fantastic few months already, especially in the lead up to celebrating a year of the hotel being open. The evening was a great opportunity to meet some of the locals and to have a relaxed and enjoyable evening reflecting on what has happened in the last 12 months!”
With summer fast approaching, the hotel has geared up with a new cocktail menu and head chef launches the new Brossen Steakhouse summer menu on Wednesday 15th June 2016. Tables can now be booked through the hotel’s website www.innonthesquare.co.uk.
