Following on from our competition; ‘Name our new Lake District Hotel’ we have been overwhelmed with the number of entries, and with the thought and research that has gone into your suggestions. After reading all of the new name ideas, Lake District Hotels management and marketing team have selected the overall winning hotel name.
Keswick’s newest hotel will be known as ‘Inn on the Square’… and described as ‘laid back luxury hotel combined with urban cool, right in the middle of Keswick’. Emma Milward, the lucky winner will be notified by email and will be able to enjoy a two night dinner, bed & breakfast stay at the Inn on the Square.
OPENING MAY 2015… Inn on the Square has an emphasis on fun, colour, nature and designer, as well as a NEW, trendy Steakhouse, separate bar with a great view of the market square and 34 cleverly designed bedrooms, you’ll find everything you need and nothing that you don’t… creating the perfect getaway.
Drink… Inn on the Square is Keswick’s chicest drink option, with large windows from floor to ceiling, Danish designer pendant lamps that add warmth and sophistication, ‘Miami’ and ‘Modena’ sofas, chairs and stools that create a striking contemporary look, it’s the perfect destination to unwind with friends and family, whilst watching the world go by!
Eat… Brossen Steakhouse invites guests to experience a menu of culinary delights, with a wide selection of locally sourced steaks from sirloin to our exclusive oak smoked, as well as chops and meaty dishes, such as rotisserie chicken, veal, hoggart, fish and a varied selection of vegetarian dishes. You’re sure to find a new favourite and will be back before you know it to try more.
Sleep… Inn on the Square offers two room types; ‘Herdwick’ and ‘Town’ with views of Skiddaw, Latrigg and Keswick’s market square. All 34 bedrooms feature comfy Sealy beds, Italian sheets, fluffy down pillows, huge plasma TV’s, hooded robes and much more!
