June Beer Club at the Kings Arms, Keswick
It’s going to be a busy weekend with the Keswick Beer Festival starting on Friday 1st June and the Diamond Jubilee celebrations taking place throughout the whole bank holiday weekend but to top it off the Kings Arms’ monthly beer club will still be running on Monday 4th June!

Every first Monday of the month at the Kings Arms Hotel, Keswick, it’s Beer Club time. Join us for a 2 or 3 course meal paired with a flight of beers.
Monday 4th June
To Start
Pan-fried prawns bound in a garlic and herb sauce elevated upon crisp ciabatta with salad garnish
or
Lightly fried bread crumbed brie with salad garnish and sweet & sour onions
Paired with Jennings Brewery’s Cumberland ale – a superb golden coloured ale, brewed with English pale ale malt and using only the finest English aromatic hops..
For Mains
Slow roasted ham hock with a honey and wholegrain mustard dressing served with vegetables and new potatoes
or
Poached salmon fillet with lemon and parsley sauce elevated upon wilted spinach served with vegetables and new potatoes
Paired with Wychwood Brewery’s Hobgoblin – the legendary ruby beer, full bodied and well balanced with a chocolate toffee malt flavour, moderate bitterness

Caramel cheesecake with cream

Homemade rhubarb crumble with custard
Paired with Jennings Brewery’s Tom Fool – Muncaster Castle’s ghost’ favourite beer, golden amber ale with all the characteristics of a light mild
