Lake District Hotels Ltd, a group of seven family owned and run hotels are calling for the general public to nominate their favourite Cumbrian charity, community project or initiative to become Lake District Hotels Ltd’s Charity of the Year 2016. Act now to ensure your charity is in the running!

Dani Hope, Marketing Director for Lake District Hotels, commented, “Every year we host a variety of events across our seven hotels, which include charity dinners, sports events, fashion shows, raffles and auctions to help raise awareness and money for various local charities that are close to our heart. With so many deserving causes in the local area we found it hard to choose one to give our full focus on, so this is the first time we have asked people to nominate a charity which they feel would benefit from our support in 2016. Our aim is to raise thousands for the nominated charity.

We hope to find out about all kinds of charities we might not have been aware of, and will choose a winning charity based partly on the number of nominations a single charity gets and also why people think it is a worthy cause.”
