Dave Hobson is relatively new to his role as General Manager, but he’s certainly not new to Lake District Hotels. We like to promote from within and Dave started working at the George Hotel nine years ago as Assistant Manager before transferring to the Kings Arms in Keswick where his passion for real ale helped the Kings Arms achieve their Cask Marque Award.
The Candleroom is due to open this evening, holding it’s very first wedding and the finishing touches are all falling into place. Tomorrow will see the first full day of the Candleroom being open for all to visit, serving morning coffee and cake from 11am and food from 12pm.
With cricket matches once again taking place in Keswick’s Fitz Park, the home ground of Keswick Cricket Club, 2016 promises to be another action-packed cricket season…
