Keswick is set to go ‘flipping crazy’ this Sunday (26th February) with a pancake flipping contest, for the run up to Shrove Tuesday. We will be hosting the event on market square, outside the Inn on the Square from 1pm – 2pm, in the hope of finding Keswick’s biggest tosser!

So come along, and see if you can flip the most pancakes in 30 seconds, the lucky winner, will receive dinner for two in the award-winning AA rosette Brossen Steakhouse.

Pancake day is a fantastic opportunity to have some fun, it’s just a shame that it only happens once a year. For that reason, our seven Lake District Hotels will have pancakes on the menu for a whole week, so pop in to one of our hotels for a tasty treat with lots of delicious toppings to try.

To enter the contest there is a £1 fee, which will be donated to Lake District Hotels charity of the year, ‘Blood Bikes Cumbria’.
