As well as offering a traditional three night festive break, the hotel has introducing the Nutcracker Christmas and New Year breaks – two night breaks that mean people can still enjoy a magical Lakeland Christmas or New Year on a smaller budget.
Interior Floral Designers have recreated the Nutcracker Ballet theme throughout the hotel, including mannequins, tutus and ballet shoes plus tiny glass ballerina tree decorations, tin soldiers as well as 74 Christmas trees and the usual festive decorations.
Head Chef Mike Ward continues the Nutcracker theme by introducing Russian inspired dishes to the festive menu – including Borscht (Beetroot Soup), Chicken Kiev’s and Sugar Plum Fairy cake. There are also Russian Cocktails, like the Ballet Russe, the Moscow Mule and the Russian Quaalude.A chance to try something new and a real treat for anyone looking for a fairytale Christmas.
When guests arrive they’ll still be greeted with legendary Lakeland hospitality and can also expect a fantastic show of festive local fayre – there’s no where better to get a taste of the Lakes.
