Burn’s Night at the Borrowdale Hotel couldn’t have been more Scottish, with whisky tasting, haggis and a piper! The room was packed with Burn’s Night enthusiasts, many of whom commented that it was “The best Burn’s Night we’ve ever had.”
The main event was whisky tasting and tutorage with Master Sommelier, and alcohol expert and columnist, Stephen Wilcock, who is also manager of the hotel. Whisky expert Rob Kilgour, from the famous Speyside distillery Macallan whisky gave interesting and intriguing tips about the drink and introduced a brand new malt whisky.

The Borrowdale Hotel is celebrating Burns Night with an evening that couldn’t be any more Scottish – with haggis, whisky and even a piper. The main event is whisky tasting and tutelage with Master Sommelier, and alcohol columnist, Stephen Wilcock, who is also manager of the hotel.
