Lake District cottages … for the perfect getaway …
Visiting the Lake District it was great to find a choice of Lake District cottages for a self catering holiday this summer and thanks to the Lake District Hotel Group you are certainly spoilt for choice! The Cottage suite at the Borrowdale Hotel sleeps five and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms! It’s the perfect place to bring your dog and you can use the hotel facilities too. Further up the valley, just that bit closer to Keswick is the splendid Lodore House – how many self catering homes have a waterfall in its own garden! The elevated position gives unbeatable views over Derwentwater and Catbells and is a perfect house party residence, sleeping up to 10 people. If you prefer a Lakeland cottage that’s at the centre of life in Keswick, then the Victorian two bedroom cottage next door to the Skiddaw Hotel is perfect.
