Friends, Roman’s, country men lend me your ears, dinner is served! Roman themed dinner at the Lodore Falls Hotel.
Proving that our staff like to go that extra mile for our customers, Head Chef Mike Ward at the Lodore Falls Hotel, creatively concocted a Roman inspired menu for a conference who were staying at the hotel last week.
Mike, who gets his inspiration from all over whether it’s a recent trip to New York or the wild mushrooms he’s collected in the local woods, rose to the challenge and even selected an appropriate name for each course.
Deputy Manager, Hans, welcomed the guests in for dinner in true Ancient Roman fashion announcing ”Friends, Roman’s, country men lend me your ears, dinner is served!”. Everyone was in high spirits and thoroughly enjoyed their evening. Scroll down to see the Roman themed menu.
