At Lake District Hotels our staff love living and working in the Adventure Capital of the UK, so it seemed only fitting to take part in the Total Warrior 2015 event. 12 staff members from across our hotel group joined forces to take on the 10k race of endless hills, rivers, mud (tonnes of it!), woodland, rugged Lake District terrain and 30 obstacles, which took place on Saturday 1st August.
People travel from all over the world to participate, with many staying in our hotels. The event was described by our team as great fun, challenging, awesome and inspiring – just like the Lakes.
