Ashness Bridge & Surprise View

Not only is it a great photo opportunity, but also an idea for entertaining your guests. Cruise around Derwentwater for an hour, sipping on bubbles in the summer and (boozy) hot chocolate in the colder months. Lodore can even supply some canapes for your guests to enjoy whilst looking at the impressive views. Don’t worry, there is an inside section on the launch where less brave guests can be seated!

The largest backdrop – Catbells!

In the field opposite us, there is the opportunity to use Catbells as an immense backdrop for your photos. Put your walking boots on and head over to the miles of grass to include the incredible mountainside in your photographs. This is especially gorgeous in Autumn, when the colours are vibrant and full of auburn’s and golds. Plus, turn around and you’ll have the captivating Lodore Falls itself. Not that you’ll need reminding where you got married, but having our name in the background of your photos is an emotional touch.
