Lake District Weddings at the Borrowdale Hotel

With a conservatory leading out into our landscaped gardens and a beautiful view down the valley to high spy and maiden moor this is a perfect venue for a wedding reception.

We specialize in small weddings in a friendly Lakeland venue The hotel has a dining room that can seat 100 people and menus can be arranged to suit all tastes, and table plans to suit.

The food is silver served by professional and friendly staff. We can also supply a master of ceremonies and are staff will be in attendance throughout the day. Our fully stocked bar and lounges are very comfortable with an option of a Dance floor for entertainment.

There are also 36 bedrooms available for your guests who would like to spend the night in luxury and not have to drive home. It is recommended that you come and have a tour of the hotel so that we can show you what we have on offer.

Prospective wedding couples are welcome to visit the hotel at any time, however it is advisable to call first and book an appointment with the reservations team in order to see a wedding coordinator
How do I book a wedding?

We will hold a provisional booking for 14 days after which time a deposit is required to secure your booking. Please contact the Borrowdale for their specific terms.
What evening entertainment can I have for my wedding reception?
