The Inn on the Lake - a place you will remember for ever . . .
Situated on Lake Ullswater in 15 acres of landscaped grounds with sweeping lawns to the lakeshore and one of the largest lakeside terraces in the county ideal for afternoon teas, before dinner drinks, barbecues or an informal meeting. With a management led team of friendly and service-minded people who enjoy looking after you and your guests and where all your requirements will be met with a willingness to assist and a smile. Surely, the many complimentary letters we have received in the past are our recommendation to you.
Conference rooms with views to die for and real ale on tap
The Inn on the Lake has several conference rooms with the largest seating up to 120 delegates. They have all you can wish for being tastefully decorated and furnished, with lots of daylight and some with the most fantastic views of the lake and mountains.
In addition, if you wish a more informal atmosphere in the evening, the Ramblers Bar provides just that with its wooden floors, Lakeland stone walls, real ale and large 42 inch TV screens (ideal for THAT football match that's not to be missed). We can even offer you a steak & chips meal, or a pie & peas supper followed by hot Lakeland toffee pudding in Ramblers.
A business meeting need not be boring add fresh air and see what happens
You come here to work and to obtain results, of course. However, an injection of fresh Lakeland air will not only focus the mind, but also allow your delegates to return to work refreshed and energized.
At the Inn on the Lake we take every opportunity of encouraging our event organisers to make use of theoutdoors. Be it a short break in the groundswhere refreshments can be served ormotorised activities or raft building andother water activities can be arranged to add to the excitement and test thedelegates leadership and hands-on skills. If you wish to venture further afield, then the vast mountain and fell areasaround the hotel are yours to explore.
Any time of the year is special in the Lake District
