To reach a fabulous destination can often be difficult - but this is not the case with The Inn on the Lake. Being only 300 miles from London, 100 miles from Manchester and 120 miles from Edinburgh, the hotel is easily reached via the M6, taking junction 40.

By Car:
From junction 40 you will need to head west (signposted Keswick). After approximately 1 mile you will reach a roundabout, where you will need to take the second exit, signposted (A592, Ullswater). After approximtely 3 miles you will come to a T junction, where you will need to turn right. Follow this road for around 6.5 miles and you will find the Inn on the Lake on the left hand side shortly after entering Glenridding.

Public Transport:
You can arrive by train at Penrith Station (three and a half hours from London, 2 hours from Newcastle or Manchester) and carry on to the Inn on the Lake by local bus or taxi.
