Excitement builds as the Inn on the Lake gets a makeover

It’s a very exciting time for the Inn on the Lake. After 11 years of amazing success, Gary Wilson, General Manager, and his team are looking forward to the entire ground floor of the hotel getting a facelift to reveal a fresh new feel to the place. The Inn on the Lake is well known for its beautiful setting, warm welcome, cosy surrounds and traditional service and our aim is to ensure these remain with the new elegant interior design.

Phase one is now complete!

The first part of the refurbishment took place during November 2011. The function room and the lounge bar have been completely refurbished and look fantastic, with luxurious fabrics adorning the comfortable chairs and huge windows.

Phase two begins January 2012

The second part of the refurbishment will take place during January and February 2012 when the rest of the ground floor will be decorated. Once again, it will be our priority to ensure all of our guests experience minimal disruption during their stay.

Gary, shares his anticipation for the refurbishment by commenting “I’ve been at the Inn on the Lake since the Graves family bought it over 11 years ago. We’ve seen many interesting events take place but now it’s time for the hotel to get a completely new interior refurbishment. My team and I can’t wait to welcome back new and returning guests and hear their comments on it.

Our core values of good, old-fashioned and friendly hospitality are what our guests appreciate so they are here to stay! The restaurant will be elegant without being too formal, but still a smart place for you to dress up if you wish, with an à la carte menu offering a choice of meals to suit a wider variety of taste buds.”
