By Car:
Leave the M6 motorway at junction 40 and take the A66 towards Keswick. Follow this road for approximately fifteen miles. Turn left on to the A591 signposted towards Keswick & Windermere. At the T-junction turn right heading towards Keswick (A5271). Follow this road for approximately 1.5 miles through the town, until you reach a mini-roundabout. Turn left at this roundabout heading towards Derwentwater. After about 700 yards turn left signposted for the pay and display car park and follow this road road for approximately 250 yards until you reach the car park for the Skiddaw Hotel on the right hand side.

By Rail:
To Carlisle (23 miles) or Penrith (15 miles). Continue by taxi or hire car.
