NEW YEAR PROGRAMME 2011

 

30th December 2011

Settle into your warm and welcoming room and get ready to meet the hotel’s General Manager, his team and fellow guests for a hot Winter Pimms and canapés
reception in the Lounge Bar. Afterwards make your way to the festively decorated "31 The Square" Restaurant, where an exquisite dinner will be served.

After dinner take a magical journey in a candlelit procession down to the shores of Lake Derwentwater where you will experience the beauty, peace and
tranquillity of the lake at night. (Warm boots and jackets recommended).

 

New Years Eve 2011

 

Prepare yourself for the day and night ahead with a hearty Cumbrian breakfast. Why not enjoy a glass of Bucks Fizz with breakfast to put you in the right mood.
Enjoy wandering the cobbled streets of Keswick and absorb the charm of this picturesque market town. Most of the shops will be open and with the sales already in full flow, you are sure of a bargain. In the afternoon, fresh air might seem like a good idea, so why not visit Trotters World of Animals and get closer to all the lovely animals (we have a special 2 for 1 discount – ask for details.)

After the crisp Lakeland air you will be glad to return to the roaring fire in the bar where you can enjoy afternoon tea or perhaps something more warming.
Soon it will be time to prepare yourself for a unique dining experience and the night ahead in 31 The Square Restaurant. After the spectacular evening meal
our resident DJ will have you dancing into the early hours of the morning. In Keswick it is tradition for everyone to gather in the Market Square to welcome
in the New Year – that’s right outside our front door!

 

New Years Day 2012

 

After such a late night there is no need to hurry down for breakfast, as we will be offering a later breakfast for one day only, after which you can enjoy a relaxing
afternoon at your leisure.

Dinner will be served in 31 The Square Restaurant after which your presence is requested in the Lounge Bar in time for our New Years Day Quiz, where your
knowledge of all things trivial will be tested to the full!

We bid a fond farewell to guests, who are leaving us today and hope to welcome you back during 2012. Alternatively, if you wish to extend your break with a
couple of extra days, you can take advantage of our special rates

 

- Children (up to 15 years) in their own room in a family suite. 2 nights £90. 3 nights £120 per child. Children (5 - 12 years) sharing with parents. 2 nights £55. 3 nights £95 per child. Children (1 - 4 years). 2 nights £30. 3 nights £49. Under 1 year no charge.
- All prices are per person, based on 2 people sharing a room and include all meals and entertainment as described.

-A non-refundable deposit of £200.00 per person is required to confirm a booking with the balance paid before 1st December 2011.
