A. The Inn on the Lake, Lodore Falls Hotel, George Hotel and Skiddaw Hotel are all licensed to accommodate civil wedding ceremonies

A. Each hotel welcomes wedding guests; some have room allocations so please check with the hotel of your choice

A. Yes we should be able to cater for any dietary requirements you or your guests may have, please speak to the wedding coordinator

Q. Do the hotels provide a cake stand and knife?
A. Yes. The knife is engraved and given to the bride and groom in a presentation box as a reminder of their special day. Please check the size and shape of the cake stand before purchasing your cake

Q. When can I come and see the hotel?
A. Prospective wedding couples are welcome to visit the hotel at any time, however it is advisable to call first and book an appointment with the reservations team in order to see a wedding coordinator

Q. How do I book a wedding?
A. We will hold a provisional booking for 1 week after which time a deposit is required to secure your booking. Please contact the hotel of your choice for their specific terms.

Q. What evening entertainment can I have for my wedding reception?
A. Each hotel welcomes evening functions with live entertainment or a disco. Please check with the hotel of your choice for more details

Q. Can I get married any day of the week?
A. We welcome wedding ceremonies and celebrations on 7 days a week.

Q Do you give discounts for off-season weddings?
A. For weddings during the winter each hotel offers a discount, please check with the hotel of your choice
