Every year our seven family owned and run hotels, illuminate Keswick, Glenridding and Penrith, with our glowing contribution to the Christmas lights. This year we continued to exceed people’s expectations as our newest hotel, Inn on the Square in Keswick added to the town’s light display, with its spectacular festive lights.
Over the last few weeks the Inn on the Square has been busy preparing for Christmas, with the hotel being adorned in festive decorations ready for the holiday season. The annual light switch on is a highlight in the calendar, bringing the local community together to share a little bit of Christmas magic. This year was an extra special celebration as BBC Children In Need were live from Keswick, sharing Keswick’s Christmas light switch on with the whole of the North East.

We are always first to mark the start of Christmas and our visitors get very excited to see the festive season begin.
As well as focusing on our festive decorations, we’ve also been doing our bit to raise money for Children In Need, by donating £1 from every bedroom booked from the 1st – 7th November, plus an extra £376.21 was raised from selling cupcakes throughout our 7 hotels, raising a total of £1383.21.”
