After the past few years of cancelled plans and rescheduled events, unprecedented demand has led to a series of sell-out events for a series of Lake District events across all of our hotels.
At Lake District Hotels we are proud to finally resume our events calendar and offer a wide range of new events that we haven’t ran in some time. The response to these events have been overwhelming and we are proud to report a surge in bookings for 2022 events, with ticket sales for events as far in advance as October.
One of our most popular events was our dinner and stargazing experience that was held at the Inn on the Lake on Wednesday 23rd February. The unique event was held as part of Cumbria’s Dark Skies Festival.
The stargazing experience followed the sell-out Burns Night Supper at the Borrowdale Hotel near Keswick and a busy Christmas and New Year period across all the hotels.
Two unique events taking place in March – a Jazz Lunch at the Inn on the Lake, and a Strictly Come Dying Murder Mystery evening at the Skiddaw Hotel in Keswick have also sold out.

ABBA Tribute Night

Friday 14th October
Tickets for an ABBA Tribute Night at the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa on Friday, October 14 are already selling fast, with fans snapping up the chance to enjoy an evening of live entertainment provided by the leading ladies of one of the UK’s top tribute bands, ABBA Forever.
Tickets cost £39.95 which includes a welcome drink, 3-course meal and the live tribute show.
An overnight ‘Tribute Break’ is also available to book online which also includes overnight accommodation and a freshly prepared breakfast the following morning. Prices start at £319.00 per room which includes all of the above.

This is the first Mother’s Day we have been able to celebrate in 2 years and it seems that people are keen to really spoil their mums. The Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa is fully booked but we still have availability for Afternoon Tea at the Inn on the Lake hotel and the Borrowdale Hotel.
A traditional 3-course Sunday roast is also being served at the Inn on the Lake, Borrowdale Hotel, Skiddaw Hotel and Inn on the Square.
Every mum receives a FREE GIFT at all of these events.

Bottomless Brunch
Tickets are also available for a Bottomless Brunch at the Inn on the Square in Keswick which is being held on Saturday 2nd April. This sumptuous treat includes a 3-course brunch, a selection of replenished alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a chocolate dessert fountain. Not to worry if you don’t like chocolate – there are other dessert options too!
The event costs £50 per person. Your experience lasts an hour and a half. 11am – 3:30pm (last booking at 2pm)
