Meet Dave Hobson, General Manager at the George Hotel, Penrith
Dave Hobson is relatively new to his role as General Manager, but he’s certainly not new to Lake District Hotels. We like to promote from within and Dave started working at the George Hotel nine years ago as Assistant Manager before transferring to the Kings Arms in Keswick where his passion for real ale helped the Kings Arms achieve their Cask Marque Award.
After a seven year stint, Dave has returned to the George Hotel in his first role as General Manager. With him he brings an air of optimism and plenty of smiles, creating a real sense of family spirit which we know our customers appreciate. We wanted to give you an insight into the life of Dave and have asked him the following questions.
