The Inn on the Lake, which is situated on the shores of Ullswater in Cumbria, have been awarded a Platinum Award in the Best of Bridebook.com Awards 2023.

The 4-star Inn on the Lake hotel enjoys one of the most spectacular settings in the Lake District, in 15 acres of grounds with lawns sweeping to the shores of Lake Ullswater. The grounds boast a spectacular outdoor gazebo where couples can wed against a backdrop of the lake and the weddings team have over 100 years of combined experience. The hotel also boasts a private jetty and reflection pool to provide couples with unique photo opportunities.
In 2022 the hotel successfully held over 120 weddings throughout the year. The hotel is also currently redeveloping their outside terrace into a beautiful new drinking and dining area which will open mid-March and be utilised for weddings going forward.

If you have already booked your venue but are looking for inspiration for your own big day, the Inn on the Lake is also hosting a Wedding Fashion Show on Sunday 14th May. The event includes a complete luxury afternoon tea and a full wedding fashion show. You can see wedding dresses, men’s formalwear, Mother of the bride attire as well as bridesmaid dresses. Tickets cost £40 per person.
