Did you get married at Inn on the Lake and have lots of beautiful pictures you’d like to show off? Now’s your chance!
To celebrate all our wedding couples (past and future) and to showcase our beautiful venue, we are launching #WeddedWednesdays on our Inn on the Lake Facebook and Instagram pages.
This is where we will post lovely photos of customer weddings at the Inn on the Lake every week for folks to see.
We’re giving YOU the chance to have your glorious wedding photos featured on both pages, to help us show people just how magical weddings at Inn on the Lake really are.
How do I apply for #WeddedWednesday?
If you would like to have your photos considered, all you need to do is email your high quality wedding photos to becca@lakedistricthotels.net and let us know:
- Your names
- Date of wedding
- Name of photographer (if professionally taken)
- A brief memoir of your experience with us
We would especially love to post your photos if your anniversary is coming up, so do send them in and we can keep them on file.
What’s more, if we are especially impressed with your photos (and we get permission from the photographer), we could ask you to feature your wedding photos in our printed marketing materials in future – so you really would be representing us!
Be featured in our monthly wedding blog
Because we love hearing about all our couples’ experiences, as well as featuring your photos in our #WeddedWednesday posts, we would also love to write about your special day as part of our monthly wedding blog!
If you feel like you have a lot to say about your Lake District wedding with us, your experience with the Inn on the Lake Wedding Team and you can remember who supplied all your accessories, let us know that you would be interested in being featured in our wedding blog in your initial email!
All you would need to do is complete our simple blog template that we will email over to you. If you would like to be featured, we also request that you send many as detailed photos as possible (e.g. close-ups of: hair, makeup, jewellery as well as photos of bridesmaids in their dresses and groomsmen in their suits.)

Attend our upcoming Winter Wedding Fayre
If you have not previously been married with us, but are considering the Inn on the Lake for your perfect wedding venue, don’t just follow our #WeddedWednesday posts but also come along to our Winter Wedding Fayre!
Our skilled and friendly team will be here to greet you on Sunday 3rd November as you experience the elegance of our stunning, lakeside hotel. Witness our beautiful wedding gazebo adorned with twinkling lights and let the beauty of the area speak for itself.
This is also an excellent opportunity to meet many of our recommended local wedding exhibitors, from photographers, make-up artists, musicians plus many more.
There will be free mince pies and a complimentary glass of mulled wine for all who attend, plus… ENTRY IS FREE!
