Rocking all over Keswick on Friday 29th June

Hundreds of people are expected to gather on Keswick’s Market Square this Friday evening, as the Mid-Summer Festival Rock Concert takes over the town. Starting at 6pm, locals and visitors to the area can watch as artists take to the stage to perform greatest hits by Rod Stewart, Ed Sheeran and more!

Market Square set to Rock for Midsummer Rock Concert

This is a free event for everyone to enjoy, after the acts have finished, the Inn on the Square, will host ‘Rod Stewart’ and ‘Ed Sheeran’ tributes back at the hotel, providing the opportunity to meet the artists and have a photo taken with them for a donation to our charity of the year – Keswick School.

It is a great honour to be the main sponsor of the Rock Concert, each year these events attract visitors to Keswick which is fantastic for the community. Last year we sponsored Proms in the Park and each year we sponsor a category at Keswick Scruffs.

Throughout the Rock Concert there will be the chance to buy raffle tickets for £2 from outside the Kings Arms Hotel (just opposite the stage), for the chance to win fabulous prizes to enjoy in our hotels, with all proceeds going to Keswick School. All money raised will go towards updating the school’s food technology room, with the overall aim to inspire students to take up a career within hospitality.

The Mid-summer festive will come to an end on Sunday 1st July with Keswick Scruffs, a fun dog show which takes place in Fitz Park. The show includes lots of quirky classes to enter, with Lake District Hotels sponsoring the best dog trick, which offers the lucky winner a voucher for afternoon tea for two at the four-stay Lodore Falls Hotel.

The Midsummer Rock Concert is part of the Keswick Midsummer Festival organised by Keswick Town Council.
