This Summer, the Borrowdale Hotel is offering a ‘kids eat free’ Sunday lunch promotion to help save the pennies and keep the tummies full. Famous for our Sunday lunch, the Borrowdale Hotel prepares up to 120 fluffy Yorkshire puddings, a selection of roasts, two fish dishes, seasonal vegetables, and rich gravy every week. Locals and visitors to the area gather at the hotel every Sunday to enjoy a Sunday roast, watching in anticipation as their meat is carved right in front of them from the traditional carving trolley.

At the Borrowdale Hotel, we understand that Sunday’s should be spent with the family and for that reason we’re offering 2 free children’s meals for every 2 paying adults. Plus, you don’t have to spend your day preparing it in your own home or doing the washing up.

Our carving trolley has been wheeling its way round the restaurant for the last 35 years and is still in use today, bringing the carvery, the chef and some old-fashioned theatre to the dining table, giving a bit of respect for the meat – a traditional that has been firmly embedded into the Borrowdale Hotel.
