Just last month, we launched our exclusive Falls Spa candle which is a collaboration with local company Fellside Candle Co to allow guests to take the relaxation home.
After spotting the local company on Instagram, we contacted Fellside Candle Co to and asked candlemaker Gail Hailes to create an exclusive candle for The Falls Spa near Keswick.
The candles went down so well with guests and completely sold out within days, so much so that a third order has actually just been placed!

About Fellside Candle Co
One of the most important factors we had in mind when choosing to work with Fellside Candle Co was the sustainable nature of their products. The wax used is non-toxic and the candle pots are also made from sustainable materials.
Fellside Candle Co is based only 18 miles away which is owned and operated by Gail Hailes, who creates her candles in a hut on Mosser Fell near the family farm on the outskirts of Cockermouth.
Gail started the business last October after deciding she wanted to turn her passion into something more tangible. From her hut, Gail creates fragrances and candles for her signature Fellside range, whilst working on special projects and commissions for other businesses.
The Falls Spa candle
The Falls Spa candle was created to evoke the feelings of deep relaxation that spending time at the award-winning spa brings.
The candle’s scent has top notes of pine, eucalyptus, thyme and sea salt and is followed by a floral heart of rose, lily, jasmine and lilac. The candle has a wooden wick and the pot is made from jesmonite, a sustainable, non-toxic material.
Every candle comes with a plantable label that is impregnated with seeds – so once the candle has burned, fresh life is breathed into the pot as it takes on a new meaning.
The candles, which burn for 50-plus hours, are £24 each and would make wonderful Christmas gifts. They are available exclusively from The Falls Spa.
