Inn on the Lake donate a days tips to ‘Marching for Malawi’

Marching for Malawi

A group of staff from the Inn on the Lake have set themselves a 40 mile walking challenge, to raise funds to support Community Highlight, a Malawi based charity. To show our support to our fellow work colleagues, all of the management and staff at the hotel have agreed to donate a full days tips to this worthy cause.

Emma Camm, can usually be seen working behind the bar at the hotel and in her spare time she has helped set up the Community Highlight in Malawi,  which aims to provide free schooling for children aged three and over, the charity is run by passionate locals dedicated to developing and educating their community in order to change lives.

Emma decided to organise the fundraising walk between Edinburgh and Blantyre, as she wanted it to be a significant challenge. The group of six, four of whom work at the Inn on the Lake (Gareth Pollock, Emma Camm, Emma James and Stephanie McGinness) set off this morning and hope to reach their goal by the end of the day.
