Cumbria is well known for its community spirit and for pulling together when times get tough, the county is full of extraordinary people that go out of their way for others on a daily basis, whose actions go unnoticed. You can now help to raise some recognition for these unsung heroes.
We are calling for the general public to put forward local individuals who you think deserve appreciation for making a difference in someone’s life. This is the perfect chance for inspiring people to receive a little gratitude and the power is now in your hands to nominate.
At the Lodore Falls Hotel, we are very proud to be in a position to be able to generate a little recognition for inspirational people. Whether they have helped an individual or a whole community, it’s going to be a hard job selecting an overall winner. Nominations could include someone who falls into one of the below categories:
– Supportive friend or neighbour
– Volunteer
– Young achiever
– Community group/achievement
– Outstanding act of bravery
– Inspiring role model

A winner will be selected by the Lodore Falls General Manager, Matt and his team based on the most touching nomination, the lucky individual will then receive recognition for their achievement and dinner with a glass of Prosecco for two in the newly refurbished Lodore Falls Hotel, in the pretty Borrowdale valley.
