To commemorate National Burger Day on 26th August 2021, we thought it was only appropriate that we highlight our favourite burgers available at Brossen Steakhouse which is located at the Inn on the Square in Keswick.

Brossen Cheese Burger
There’s a great saying that goes “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” which is exactly the case with our Brossen Cheese Burger, which has remained a firm favourite on the Brossen menu since we first ever opened in 2015.
Forever a classic, the Brossen Cheese Burger truly is a whopper which features melt in the mouth Lakeland beef steak, gooey Emmental cheese, melted onions, iceberg lettuce, beef tomato & secret sauce, neatly packed into a pretzel bun.
Spiced Honky-Tonk Buttermilk Chicken Burger
If chicken burgers are your thing, the Honky-Tonk burger is king! This burger is not only a treat for your taste buds, but the crispy texture of the buttermilk chicken is an enjoyment in itself.
Inspired by tasty chicken burgers from the U.S, when you bite into this burger, you’ll experience an explosion of flavours that make you happy.
Served with Emmental cheese, sliced gherkins, iceberg lettuce and beef tomato inside a pretzel bun with relish on the side.
Moving Mountains Burger
A vegan burger… in a steakhouse?! It might be hard to believe but there are a number of vegan dishes on the Brossen menu, and the Moving Mountains Burger still makes our top 3!
This succulent plant-based burger still looks and tastes absolutely amazing despite having no traces of animal-based food on/in it! We have received excellent feedback from vegan diners and guests who are simply wanting to cut down their meat consumption.
This plant-based burger comes with iceberg lettuce, beef tomato, onion and sliced gherkins in a vegan brioche bun, accompanied by Asian sesame ‘slaw and tomato relish on the side.
