The elegant glass fronted wine cellar at the Borrowdale Hotel has proved very popular with visitors, offering a large range of wines from all over the world. We are therefore delighted to showcase the following ‘Wine & Dine’ events in addition to our weekly wine tastings on Friday evenings during 2015.
Our two balcony bedrooms are always in big demand and we don’t like to disappoint. With the Summer Solstice occurring only once a year in the northern hemisphere, it is truly a special celebration. More than 20,000 revellers are set to descend on Stonehenge for the 2015 Summer Solstice, but at Lake District Hotels we have a more intimate affair planned at one of the most stunning stone circle locations in the country.
