Even though Christmas has been and gone, there’s nothing like sparkling Christmas lights to get you in good spirits in time for New Year’s Eve.

Start the New Year right, with relaxing strolls around the cobbled lanes of Penrith, where you’ll find yourself browsing in the lovey mix of shops, grabbing yourself a bargain or two in the January sales which will have started on Boxing Day.
For arts and crafts make sure you visit The Lion Gallery, White and Green or the Urban Angel. If fashion is your thing then check out Benetton for the latest Italian trends, or TwentyOne8 and NDY have some beautiful and unusual designer clothes for ladies. If you’ve got the kids with you then a trip to Toymaster is a must, with 3 floors stacked to the ceilings with toys, it’s a kids paradise!
