The A591 re-opens ahead of schedule
There’s a real buzz around Cumbria today, as a major road in the Lake District, the A591 was officially re-opened this morning by Environment Minister Rory Stewart MP. The North and South Lakes are once again reconnected, after a five month closure due to the devastation that Storm Desmond caused.
