Guests, over 400; wedding suppliers, 22; Prosseco bottles opened, 50; visits from Mr. Darcy; 1… the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa October Wedding Fayre couldn’t have been more of a success if we’d tried.
The Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa opened its doors to all budding brides-to-be and their bride tribes as we held our October Wedding Fayre!
We had a record-breaking number of visitors, as this was our most popular Wedding Fayre yet; offering inspiration and advice to everyone in search of it. All guests were also welcomed with a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival and canapes from Mizu also circled the event for all in attendance.
During the event, we were also joined by a total of 22 wedding exhibitors, including wedding photographers, live singers, DJs, videographers, cake makers, makeup artists, selfie mirrors and many more! Anything remotely wedding-related you could think of, there was a supplier there for it.
We also opened the doors to many of our opulent Spa Suites for folks to have a look around. These are the largest and most elegant rooms in the whole of the hotel, making them the perfect place to spend the night before (and after) your wedding day.

We hope you got the chance to talk to all the suppliers you were interested in, however just in case you didn’t, we’ve listed all of them below so you can follow them up with any questions that may have came to you after the event had ended.

Fame at the Falls
Also, at the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa on Sunday 27th October was Academy Award winning actor Colin Firth!
As much as we’d love to say he was at the event as part of an upcoming Bridget Jones sketch, the British superstar was actually dining in Mizu Pan-Asian Restaurant. The actor has been in Cumbria while filming his latest film ‘Supernova’ alongside Stanley Tucci.
