Taking a leisurely ride on either the Keswick Launch on Derwentwater or the Ullswater Steamers is an excellent activity for the whole family. Not only is it fun for the kids to take a boat trip across the Lake, but it’s a brilliant opportunity to admire the panoramic scenery.

Both lake cruises also have indoor seating so you can still enjoy one of these lake tours even when the weather is drizzly.

The Ullswater Steamers have a jetty in Glenridding which is a short stroll from the Inn on the Lake hotel, and you can catch the Keswick Launch from the Keswick jetty which is a 5 – 10 minute walk from the Inn on the Square, Skiddaw Hotel and Kings Arms.
