There’s no denying that 2020 has been a whirlwind of a year, bringing lots of confusion and sometimes even disappointment to many across the world. For this reason, we realized that it was more important than ever to spread as much cheer and happiness across all 6 of our hotels as possible when we reopen on December 2nd.
We’ve put a tremendous amount of effort into making our Christmas decorations even more spectacular than usual as we aim to put a smile on each and every one of our guests’ faces as they step into our Winter Wonderlands.
This December, we want all of our hotels to be somewhere that guests can escape their worries and enter into a magical place where they’re surrounded by joy, laughter and loved ones. We want our hotels to be a place where families and friends will create lifelong memories where, instead of remembering all the negative aspects of 2020, they’ll remember that warm feeling they got as our twinkling Christmas lights and ginormous trees unfolded before them.

Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa
Entrance
As per Lodore tradition, you can expect to be greeted by an array of Christmas trees as well as our hotel gingerbread house replica created by head chef Shane Hamilton each year.
Bar & Lounges
Once you’ve been wowed by the entrance, the decorations continue into our bar area and dog-friendly Library Lounge. Find a cosy fireplace to sit in-front of and soak up the atmosphere.
Conservatory
The conservatory is where we serve some of the foodie delights available on our 3-night Christmas and New Year’s packages including our Gin Afternoon Teas and Cocktail & Canapes receptions.
Mizu Pan-Asian Restaurant
Mizu is our ultra modern Asian-fusion restaurant that’s a favourite of both visitors and locals. We’re open Christmas Day where we’ll be serving our Asian-twist on the traditional Roast Turkey with all the trimmings as well as New Year’s Eve for the best celebrations this side of Tokyo.

The newly refurbished Inn on the Lake hotel looks absolutely mesmerising with its new Christmas decorations! Quite different to how it looked this time last year.

Celebrate New Year in the Lake District!
After all the twists and turns of the year, we really wanted to say goodbye to 2020 with a bang, which is why we’ve put together a spectacular 3-night New Year’s package to really give our loyal guests something special to look forward to!
