Unveiling the NEW Falls Brasserie at the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa.

The popular Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa has recently undergone a whole ground floor refurbishment which has left the establishment revelling in modern luxury. This transformation has also seen an entirely new kitchen installation and the unveiling of a brand-new restaurant, the Falls Brasserie, intricately designed to set a new standard for dining excellence in the heart of the Lake District.

This revamp spanned three months and involved a substantial investment of over £2.5 million in total; it has taken the traditional hotel and created a modern masterpiece with the Falls Brasserie taking centre stage. The redesign includes a new layout – returning guests will notice new windows looking into the primary restaurant from the lobby and a repositioned entrance which offers a more welcoming feel.

The Falls Brasserie

Emanating an aura of casual elegance, the Falls Brasserie stands as a testament to meticulous design and culinary excellence. From the moment customers step foot into this newly reimagined space, they are enveloped in an atmosphere that seamlessly blends sophistication with the natural splendour of the Borrowdale Valley. The panoramic views of Derwentwater, Skiddaw and Catbells, treat guests to a visual feast that perfectly compliments a delicious one!

Drawing inspiration from the Scandinavian heritage of the hotel owners, the Falls Brasserie boasts a chic ambiance that is both inviting and captivating. The iconic Artichoke lights from Louis Poulsen cast a warm glow, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. These timeless designs, alongside pendant lights from the same designer, add a touch of Danish sophistication to the space. Natural stone tables are spread throughout the restaurant, complimented by the extra-wide bleached oak floor planks which evoke a sense of opulence; while the design, inspired by luxury venues in Copenhagen, infuse the space with an air of international chic.

You will find the walls adorned by many original oil and acrylic paintings by acclaimed local artist Jonathan Trotman. Another new feature hangs in the form of a stunning painting of Black Moss Pot, a local beauty spot, created by esteemed Cumbrian artist, Maria Burton. These artworks not only serve as captivating focal points but also pay homage to the rich cultural heritage of the Lake District.

We are thrilled to unveil the Falls Brasserie, a new Lake District restaurant that embodies the essence of modern style and exceptional dining. This significant investment underscores our commitment to providing unforgettable experiences for our guests, where every aspect exceeds expectations.” – Dani Hope, Director of Lake District Hotels.
