Light pollution maps issued by the Campaign to Protect Rural England have highlighted the Lake District National Park as having excellent visibility of stars and constellations, and with longer nights set to kick in, Autumn is the perfect time to take advantage of this scintillating opportunity.

Make your November getaway truly astronomical and pair your stargazing session with a Twilight Spa evening at The Falls Spa at Lodore Falls Hotel in the Borrowdale Valley on one night of your stay for an additional £50 per person. Book a 2-hour Starlight Swim experience with our professional outdoor swimming guide, Ali, whether you are new or experienced in open water swimming. Warm up on the lakeshore with a hot drink, sugary snack and post-swim chats, all provided by Ali.
£60 per person, min. 2 people. Wetsuits, tow floats and hot chocolate are included in the price. Starlight Swims are private for you and your party.
