Sustainability within our group of Lake District Hotels
We are an environmentally conscious company with the aim of reducing our impact on the planet.
Bedrooms
Thermostatic radiators
Underfloor heating in new bathrooms
Low flush toilet to save water where possible
Sealy Beds manufactured within 20 miles (reducing carbon footprint on transport)
Roll out of vegan duvets and pillow with filling made from recycled plastic bottles
Coffee and tea wrapped in paper packaging
QR code in room for online room directory
Replacing all kettles with smaller, rapid boil kettles (to reduce energy use on boiling unnecessary water)
Energy saving lighting all LED as standard in all newly refurbed rooms
Increased use of recycled materials where possible in bedroom refurbishments

All cleaning chemicals are biodegradable after 28 days (with the exception of the Mould and Mildew, drain unblocker and urinal enzyme cleaner)
