It’s been a long old damp winter that’s for sure! So why not join us to celebrate summer in style on our annual guided walk to the ancient stone circle at Castlerigg and greet the sunrise on the longest day of the year.
When you arrive you will have the chance to listen to the ancient Druid ritual, welcoming the sun and afterwards tuck into a delicious hot breakfast of porridge with brown sugar, and cream, sausage/bacon sandwiches with lashings of sauce, and warming tea and coffee.
Then on the return you can walk off the excess breakfast with our recommended walking route… take in the stunning scenery with a stroll from the stone circle to the shores of Derwentwater before returning to Keswick to enjoy the rest of your day.
