Ah those lazy days of summer… time for sun, fun and #selfies. Selfies have become popular all over the world, with people striking a pose and posting them on the social media sites. So at Lake District Hotels we’ve decided to add a little fun to your stay with a Summer Selfie competition.

We all do it! Some more than others… so whip out your phone, strike a pose and show us your selfie. The lucky winner will win 1 night dinner, bed and full Cumbrian breakfast at the hotel of your choice!* So don’t be shy… join the race in taking the most creative summer selfie!

Follow our simple rules below for a chance to win…

Rule 1: You must have a camera/ Smartphone!

Rule 2: You must be a poser!

Rule 3: You must be in one of our hotels or hotels grounds – ideally showing this in the background of your selfie

Rule 4: Strike a selfie! The selfie can be just you, can include family or friends, it can even include staff members… the funnier the better!

2. Photos which are not suitable for whatever reason can be disqualified from the competition.
3. *excludes bank holidays, half term weekends and 27th, 28th & 29th December 2014. Subject to availability. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash and are not transferable.
4. Any prizes not claimed 1 month after being notified by email will be forfeited.
