With Christmas just around the corner there’s heaps to look forward to! The atmosphere seems to be a little more jolly during this time of year, the Christmas marathon of movies begins, there’s an abundance of Christmas markets to visits, everywhere you go is filled with pretty baubles and twinkling lights, and then there’s fabulous food and drink to fill yourself up on!

Back by popular demand… Jennings Red Breast was so popular last year across our seven hotels that we have decided to bring it back. The cherry dawn chorus of roasted malt is guaranteed to wipe away those winter blues. Available at the Lodore Falls Hotel, Inn on the Lake, the Borrowdale Hotel, the Skiddaw Hotel and the Kings Arms Hotel.
Mistletoe
If you’d like a kiss under the mistletoe this Christmas, head to the Inn on the Lake and have a sip of their ‘Mistletoe’ winter cocktail… made with gin, elderflower and cucumber tonic… with the romantic setting and a delicious drink in hand you’re sure to get that kiss from your special someone.

What could be more Christmassy than a fruity, warm and gently spiced Winter Pimm’s, this brandy based liqueur is perfect for warming you up on a cold winter’s evening. Best served with warm apple juice with apple and orange slices.
