Learn more about Pan Asian cuisine, it’s growing popularity and how to master the art of preparing it yourself with the help of our skilled Mizu chefs.
Asian food has long been a staple of the UK diet for years, with Chinese and Indian takeaway remaining a firm favourite. In the last few years, it seems that changing tastes have also lead to a boost in popularity for Pan Asian cuisine. Pan Asian food incorporates an eclectic range of flavours from across the continent, taking inspiration from countries like Japan, Thailand, Korea and Malaysia. While iconic dishes like sushi continue to remain popular, new favourites include Katsu curry, fragrant Thai curries and more!
Why is Pan Asian cuisine so popular?
With an increasing number of people choosing to travel to different parts of Asia on holiday, the rise in popularity of Pan Asian cooking may show a demand for these dishes when travellers return. The trend is also reflected in the growing popularity of Pan Asian restaurants across the country. Mizu is now a part of that trend, providing something completely unique to the Lake District for both visitors and locals!
