Earlier this year we launched a yearlong raffle, and we are pleased to announced the 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize winners for our first quarter draw. The raffle offers fabulous prizes from our seven hotels for each quarter, tickets have been available to purchase from our hotel receptions, as well as online and via Keswick School students, raising £1,788 which will go towards developing the food technology classroom at Keswick School.
1st prize, Sunday lunch for a family of four was awarded to Larissa Williams from Whitehaven; 2nd prize, afternoon tea for two went to Cathy Leafe from Bothel, both prizes available to enjoy at one of the following hotels; the Lodore Falls Hotel and Borrowdale Hotel, located in the Borrowdale valley; Inn on the Square, the Skiddaw Hotel and Kings Arms Hotel in Keswick; Inn on the Lake on Ullswater or the George Hotel in Penrith. While 3rd prize, two 9” pizzas and two soft drinks at LB’s Pizza House in Keswick went to Judith Easton from Little Broughton.
It was great to see the students from Keswick School getting behind our raffle, selling an impressive £884 worth of tickets. The school set them a challenge, where by the student that sold the most tickets would win a Amazon voucher, so a big well done to 13 year old Olivia Marsden who claimed this prize, selling 30 tickets.
The second quarter of our raffle is now available which offers a Brossen Steakhouse Experience for two as 1st prize, which includes 35oz Tomahawk sharing steak, 3 sides and a bottle of house wine! Three lucky winners will be selected week commencing 1st October, with all proceeds once again going to Keswick School.
