Become Lake District Hotels’ 2020 Charity of the Year!

Each year for the past half a decade, Lake District Hotels have selected a local, charity of the year that have needed some extra support. Now we want your help to select a 2020 Charity of the Year!

Throughout this period, we have successfully raised an accumulative total of £58,000 across the 4 below charities:

For our previous projects, we have always asked the public to help us select a Cumbrian charity, community project or initiative by putting forward your nominations.

Supporting our local community

In the past and for the year ahead, we have chosen to stick with local charities that we feel may go somewhat neglected compared to the larger charitable organisations; but still do amazing work for their individual causes and the community.

“We like to support charities which make an impact on the local community in Cumbria, but there are so many deserving causes it’s difficult to narrow them down to just one. Our nomination process allows you, your friends and work colleagues the chance to put forward your favourite Cumbrian charity to become our 2020 Charity of the Year.”Dani Hope, Lake District Hotels Director

Have your say!

Who will be our 2020 Charity of the Year? With your help, a local charity that is close to your heart could reap the benefits, making a real difference in people’s lives.

All we ask is that you select a local charity based in Cumbria and explain your reasons as to why this charity would benefit from our additional support.

For our previous charities, we have especially enjoyed supporting a physical project that we have witnessed come to life – so do keep this in mind at the time of submitting your nomination.
